The 4th Annual Summit and Felicitations of BRICS CCI WE took place in New Delhi, India, focusing on women’s empowerment. Attended by diplomats from various countries, including Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa, Iran, as well as Ansh Virmani, Country Director BRICS CCI UAE, the event emphasized the transition from women development to women-led development. It featured the unveiling of a report on tech and business for women empowerment and honored achievers like Ms. Poonam Dhillon with the BRICS CCI WE Trailblazer Lifetime Achievement Award.
The summit highlighted pillars such as Education, Enterprise, Financial Literacy, and Leadership Mentoring. Eminent panelists engaged in insightful discussions, reflecting on the significance of women’s leadership in driving socio-economic progress.
LAUNCH OF BRICS CCI UAE CHAPTER OFFICE
The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) recently opened its UAE Chapter office, a significant moment as the UAE joins the BRICS alliance, which now has 10 members. This event opens up new opportunities for collaboration across various sectors. The launch event was attended by diplomats and dignitaries from Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Iran.

Mr. Rizwan Sajan's Vision for BRICS CCI
Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of the UAE’s esteemed Danube Group, delivered a speech full of enthusiasm, embracing his role as honorary advisor on the board of BRICS CCI. He reflected on the significance of this appointment, stating, “BRICS countries which have joined has doubled compared to what it was earlier. And I’m sure more and more countries are going to join, and this will help in improving the economic relationship between all the countries. I want to congratulate all the countries who have joined and wish them all the best.” Mr. Sajan’s words resonated with the spirit of collaboration and growth that defines the BRICS alliance.

Mr. Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer of Parks & Zones at DP World GCC, emphasized the strategic importance of the UAE Chapter’s inauguration.
